Casas del Toro is located about 10 to 15 minutes from the most visited reserves in the area and offers a very peaceful environment; making it easy to fully connect with nature. It is perfect for you to rest in our well equipped apartment or relax in our beautiful gardens after a day of exploring.

Adventure

Monteverde offers a wealth of high-adrenaline adventures, and for the less adventurous, there are many other activities to enjoy during your visit. You will definitely need a couple of days to fully explore this unique destination. Ask at the office about reservations, or contact us before your arrival to make arrangements.

The Monteverde Cloud Forest is known for its preservation of natural forests. Cloud forests are unique and definitely a must-see. Several reserves await you, teeming with diverse species of flora and fauna. You can learn about and admire the wildlife in its natural form. We recommend guided hikes, as there is so much to discover about the forest.
