Casas del Toro is located about 10 to 15 minutes from the most visited reserves in the area and offers a very peaceful environment; making it easy to fully connect with nature. It is perfect for you to rest in our well equipped apartment or relax in our beautiful gardens after a day of exploring.

Adventure

Monteverde offers a plenitud of high adrenaline adventures or for the less adventurous there are many different activities you can enjoy during your visit. You will definitely need a couple of days to fully explore this unique place. Ask in the office about reservations or contact us before your arrival to make arrangements for you.

Explore

The Monteverde Cloud Forest is known for it preservation of its forests. Cloud forests are very unique and definitely a must see. There are several reserves that await you with rich species of flora and fauna. You can learn about and admire the wildlife at its bareform. We recommend guided hikes, since there is so much to learn about the forest.
